Training & Wellness Programs
Equipping schools, organizations, and communities with the knowledge and tools to save lives, build resilience, and promote lasting health.
Empowering Communities Through Knowledge
Dr. Jean Wright believes education goes beyond the classroom — it’s also about giving people the tools they need to live healthier, more resilient lives. With decades of experience as an educator, researcher, and public health advocate, she offers training programs that empower participants to make a real difference.
Her workshops and certifications are designed for schools, workplaces, faith-based organizations, and community groups. From suicide prevention to health and wellness education, Dr. Wright’s programs are rooted in research, practical application, and compassion.

Suicide Prevention: Knowledge That Saves Lives
Every 11 minutes, someone completes a suicide. Among young adults ages 18–25, there are 25 attempts for every completed suicide. Among older adults 65 and above, there are four attempts for every completed suicide. Most cases are linked to untreated depression and mental illness — yet warning signs are often visible days or even weeks before a crisis occurs.
Dr. Wright’s Suicide Prevention Certification Program provides practical, life-saving training to recognize these signs and respond effectively. In just 90 minutes, participants learn:
-
How to identify risk factors and warning signs of suicide
-
How to engage in conversations with at-risk individuals
-
Steps to connect individuals with professional help and resources
-
How to build a supportive culture in schools, organizations, and communities
The program includes interactive role-play scenarios to prepare participants for real-life situations. Certification lasts for three years.
Hundreds of educators, social workers, nurses, counselors, faith leaders, first responders, and community members have already completed this training, gaining the confidence to act when it matters most.

Building Resilience and Healthier Communities
Beyond suicide prevention, Dr. Wright has dedicated her career to advancing health education and supporting families. As the former President and CEO of the Virtual Dialysis Support Center, she spent nearly a decade serving dialysis and transplant patients, caregivers, and families. This work shaped her mission to address health challenges with compassion and advocacy.
Her health and wellness programs are tailored to the needs of each community and may include:
-
Caregiver support and resilience strategies
-
Workshops on stress management and mental well-being
-
Community education on chronic illness and family impact
-
Tools for building healthier workplaces and schools
Each program is designed to inspire hope, reduce stigma, and equip participants with practical knowledge for daily life.
