A Life of Integrity, Purpose, and Service
Her friends and family describe Dr. Jean Wright as positive, quiet, and soft spoken. Her colleagues know her as a strong visionary leader with an adventurous spirit. She is admired for her personal integrity, steadfastness, and determination — qualities that define her as both a professional and a person.
Dr. Wright’s ability to connect with people of all ages makes her someone you’d want as a business partner, colleague, mentor, or friend. Whether writing children’s stories, training educators in suicide prevention, or leading community health initiatives, she brings the same commitment: to help others grow, learn, and live with purpose.

From the Classroom to the Community

With over 35 years as a public school teacher, Dr. Wright has spent her career empowering students and supporting fellow educators. Her classroom experiences gave her a deep understanding of both the joys and challenges of teaching — insights she now shares through her writing, speaking, and training programs.
Her early career shaped her belief that education is more than academics — it’s about resilience, creativity, and emotional well-being. This philosophy continues to guide her work with children, parents, teachers, and community leaders.

Equipping Communities With Tools for Life
Dr. Wright is also a licensed suicide prevention trainer who has certified hundreds of individuals — including teachers, nurses, counselors, pastors, managers, and first responders. Her 90-minute certification program equips participants with the skills to recognize warning signs, respond effectively, and save lives. Certification lasts three years and includes practical role-play to prepare participants for real-world situations.
Beyond training, Dr. Wright has served as President/CEO of the Virtual Dialysis Support Center, where she spent nearly a decade helping dialysis and transplant patients and their families. Her passion for wellness, prevention, and resilience continues through her community health education and advocacy.
Academic Excellence and Professional Experience
Dr. Wright holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (with a minor in Group Sciences), a Master’s degree in Teaching (with a minor in Language Arts), and a PhD in Public Health. She is licensed in suicide prevention and has led countless workshops, trainings, and public speaking events across education and healthcare sectors.
Her academic and professional journey reflect her belief that true success is measured not by titles, but by the lives we touch and the resilience we inspire.

Honoring Your Purpose
At the core of all her work is a simple yet powerful mandate: “Honoring Your Purpose.” Whether through books that delight children, trainings that save lives, or community health programs that strengthen families, Dr. Wright helps individuals and organizations discover and live out their unique calling.
She invites you to connect, learn, and grow — not just to achieve your goals, but to honor your purpose along the way.
