School Violence and Teacher Resilience
Dr. Wright’s PhD dissertation, this extensive mixed-methods study revealed five major qualities that help teachers build resilience and “bounce back” from challenging situations. What Do Caregivers of Dialysis Patients Need?
Published in 2023, this qualitative investigation examined the challenges faced by caregivers supporting dialysis patients. Dr. Wright’s research highlights the urgent need for better resources and support systems.


About the Author
Dr. Jean Wright was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and served nine years of honorable military service before beginning her 35-year career as a public school teacher. She has since become an author, researcher, speaker, and advocate for community health and wellness. Today she leads One Spirit Management Corporation while pursuing her passion for writing and service.
